Onsite Branch Manager
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work overtime as needed
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Onsite Branch Manager to oversee staffing and daily operations supporting an industrial pipe operation in the Midland/Odessa area. The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing employees, maintaining strong communication with the client, ensuring safety compliance, and providing excellent customer service.
This position will require regular travel between two client locations in Midland and Odessa, TX, so reliable transportation and flexibility are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily staffing and operations at assigned client locations.
- Travel between the Midland and Odessa locations as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the staffing company, employees, and client management.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and manage employees assigned to the sites.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance, and employee relations.
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate employee and staffing records.
- Work closely with client management to understand staffing needs and fill open positions quickly.
- Conduct regular onsite visits and employee check-ins.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, particularly in an industrial pipe-yard environment.
- Ensure employees follow all required safety procedures, PPE requirements, and client policies.
- Report accidents, injuries, safety concerns, and incidents promptly.
- Assist with safety orientations and communicate safety expectations to employees.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with client supervisors and management.
- Assist with payroll-related issues, timekeeping, and timesheet verification.
- Be available to respond to urgent staffing or employee matters when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, branch management, operations, or industrial/oilfield environments preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment and around pipe-yard operations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing and able to travel between Midland and Odessa locations regularly.
- Must be flexible to work outside normal business hours when staffing or operational needs require it.
- Must be comfortable working with employees at all levels.
