Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role as a Spanish-speaking Criminal Defense Investigator based in Austin, TX. The Investigator will conduct interviews, gather evidence, and analyze information to support criminal defense cases. Responsibilities include coordinating with attorneys, reviewing legal documents, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring facts are accurately documented to develop effective defense strategies. The role requires interaction with Spanish-speaking individuals, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and strong analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge in criminal investigations and the criminal justice system
- Proficiency in Spanish for conducting interviews and creating case-related documentation
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal professionals and other team members
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements and ethical standards in criminal defense
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law, or related field preferred
