Join a select-service hotel where strong client relationships and a hands-on, local sales approach drive business growth. As Director of Sales, you will shape hotel performance by building a loyal base of corporate and business travel accounts, developing extended-stay business, and becoming a trusted connection within the Goodyear business community. This on-site role offers the chance to own the hotel's sales strategy and earn additional income through performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and overall hotel revenue targets.
  • \n

  • Create and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans focused on corporate, business travel, and extended-stay segments.
  • \n

  • Prospect and secure new corporate accounts, including negotiated rate and local business travel agreements.
  • \n

  • Grow and retain existing corporate accounts through regular account reviews and relationship management.
  • \n

  • Build visibility in the local community through chamber of commerce involvement, networking events, and partnerships with area businesses.
  • \n

  • Manage prospects, sales leads, and CRM activity to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • \n

  • Conduct sales calls and property tours to convert prospects into consistent room-night production.
  • \n

  • Negotiate corporate rate agreements and collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and yield.
  • \n

  • Track sales performance and report results and insights to the General Manager.
  • \n

Must-Have Skills:

\n

    \n
  • At least 3 years of hotel sales leadership experience.
  • \n

  • Proven success developing corporate and business travel accounts.
  • \n

  • Experience creating sales plans and generating new business through direct outreach.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • \n

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • \n

  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • \n

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally, less than 20%.
  • \n

  • Experience in a select-service or extended-stay hotel environment.
  • \n

  • Experience with CRM platforms and hotel brand systems.
  • \n

  • Established relationships with corporate travel managers or local businesses in the West Valley / Phoenix market.
  • \n

  • Experience partnering with Revenue Management on pricing and revenue optimization.
