Location: Marengo, IL

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday (Overtime may extend start to 5:00 AM)

Pay Rate: 23.88

A day in the life

You clock in at 7:00 AM, review the day’s blueprints, and set up your MIG equipment for multi-position welding. When production ramps up, you switch over to a welding robot, verify parameters, and run parts. Between batches, you inspect robotic welds for placement and quality, grind where needed, and keep your cell organized and safe. If overtime is posted, you’ve got the option to start as early as 5:00 AM to maximize your earnings.

What you’ll handle

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding in all positions for mechanical strength
• Operate welding robots as production requires
• Inspect robotic welds for quality and proper location
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work area

What you bring

• Hands-on MIG welding experience
• Fluent in blueprint reading and welding symbols
• Background with ARC, MIG, gas welding, torch cutting, grinding, and slag removal
• Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs
