DSJ Global is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join a leading building material manufacturer. This individual will direct and coordinate the work of maintenance and facilities personnel responsible for the upkeep, repair, and installation of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure, either personally or through delegated supervision.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for maintenance and facilities supervisors and staff, including indirect management of personnel across multiple shifts and locations
Drive consistency in maintenance operations across regional locations by implementing standardized practices, including preventive maintenance programs, spare parts inventory systems, and effective use of CMMS tools.
Track departmental budgets to ensure cost-effective maintenance and facilities operations
Oversee training to improve work performance and compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues, ensuring timely repairs and resource coordination.
Support long-term facilities planning, including energy efficiency, lifecycle maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
Manage utilities and facility systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, compressed air), and coordinate external services such as janitorial and groundskeeping.
Oversee service contracts, capital purchases, and facility modifications, ensuring compliance with specifications and budget constraints.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in technical field
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
7+ years in facilities and equipment maintenance
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
Experience with TPM, Lean Management Systems, CNC Machining, Anodizing, Painting, Contract Management
