Insight Global is searching for a Field Service Technician to support one of our best clients in Carlsbad, NM. We are looking for skilled electromechanical individuals to help our clients’ Permian Basin operations. You will be required to work one weekend per month.
Our client is a natural gas compression service company specializing in compressor packaging, sales, and leasing, with operations in 3 US states and overseas for about 20 E&P clients.
As a field Technician, about 50% of your day will be spent driving to various locations in the Permian Basin to do preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting. Most of the time, the call-outs you go to are for electrical issues. In this role, you will be responsible for basic maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and repair of compressor units. We are seeking people with a high level of attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness. The majority of the work will be conducted in the field with minimal supervision. Success in this role will require great communication skills, excellent customer service and the ability to complete tasks effectively. REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
- Clean driving record
- Experience in the electro-mechanical or electrical field
- Compressor or INE experience
