Job Description
We are seeking an experienced construction inspector or field engineer to provide comprehensive technical oversight on complex commercial or federal projects, with a specialized focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. This role covers field inspection, commissioning support, submittal/RFI technical review, deficiency tracking, and progress documentation across large-scale, multi phased construction and modernization projects.

Responsibilities:

- Comprehensive Field Inspection & Technical Verification
- Serve as liaison to the Commissioning Agent
- Submittal & RFI Technical Support
- Conduct constructability assessments
- Support interdisciplinary coordination
- Deficiency Tracking & Quality Control
- Support operational continuity
- Support schedule alignment
- Maintain daily logs
- Prepare periodic summaries

Required:
\n
- \n
- Field experience on at least 2 multi-phase modernization or new construction projects.
- Exceptional working knowledge of IBC, IMC, IPC, NEC, and OSHA safety regulations
- Thorough understanding of IPC, backflow prevention assembly testing, medical/specialty gas certifications, and hydraulic calculations for automatic fire sprinkler networks (NFPA 13/14/20)
- Proven track record of providing objective technical guidance, drafting clear professional summaries, and building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
