POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vehicle Management Specialist is a member of the Supply Chain and is responsible for the inspection, maintenance and security of incoming chassis as well as the final inspection of vehicles before shipment. Quality work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, for meeting performance goals and for maintaining the high-level of quality that consumers expect from our products. This is a "safety sensitive" position; therefore, the employee must adhere to all OSHA and Standard Operating Procedures that have been put into place.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Check-in and/or check-out of vehicles with adherence to documented processes and quality
(inspection) criteria o Inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings o Verification of proper operation of mechanical systems and electrical accessories o Completion and retention of required documentation o Coordination of warranty repairs with authorized service centers
Processing of new chassis through pre-delivery service requirements as required
Operation of vehicle hoist and advanced diagnostic equipment
Movement and storage of both unconverted vehicle chassis and finished goods inventory Documentation of vehicle location and conversion status
Maintenance of vehicle security
Identification and implementation of 6S and lean improvement opportunities
Interaction with truckers for incoming and/or outgoing deliveries
Ability and willingness to work overtime or modified shift hours
Other duties as required by operational needs
Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles, performing any combination of following duties: Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes
Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and debris.
• Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer.
• Applies wax and or uses buffing equipment as required. All other cleaning of vehicles as needed or directed KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience Operating buffing equipment preferred
Good Verbal communication skills to convey information effectively Attention to detail
Using cleaning and protective solutions to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
Moving and parking the vehicles, delivering to correct locations
Ability to read, learn and understand instructions
Understand and ability to use standard measuring tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid driver's license required; 3 year clean MVD record e Strong analytical and organizational skills required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and organize effectively
Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills (Wordl Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong attention to detail, quality focused and willingness to learn e Honest, ethical and handles things in a professional manner e Positive attitude, enthusiastic, team player, multi-tasking, driven and results-minded
Background in quality control desired Bilingual a plus
SAFETY:
• Personnel will conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, and all state and federal regulations (such as 6S, Lean Manufacturing, OSHA, etc.). Bring concerns to the attention of your Supervisor, Manager, Director, Safety Manager or HR Director.

ENVIRONMENT:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is also exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment js moderate to loud while on the production line.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or fee}; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
