Quality Assurance Technician

⭐ What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support daily quality activities and work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing inspections using engineering drawings, specs, and measurement tools
- Conducting cleanliness tests, density checks, and various product verifications
- Using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread/plug gauges, microscopes, and digital comparators
- Completing internal audits to verify compliance with documented procedures
- Reviewing and confirming accuracy of work orders, quantities, and supporting documents
- Logging inspection results and creating basic charts (Pareto, Paynter) to support continuous improvement
- Assisting with evaluating warranty returns and performing initial failure analysis
- Entering transactions in SAP and updating customer portals with warranty details
- Preparing quality reports and summarizing field/warranty data
- Processing incoming inspections and loading inspection plans into SAP
- Supporting sorting, quarantine activities, and other quality‑related tasks on the production floor

🛠️ Technical Skills You'll Use
Quality Systems: ISO 9001, IATF 16949
Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint/Teams, SAP
Technical Tools: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plates, thread/plug gauges, microscopes/comparators, multimeters
Other Knowledge: Print reading, GD&T, metrology fundamentals
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Technical/vocational degree OR high school diploma with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience
- 1–3 years working with engineering prints and inspection tools
- Strong Metrology Experience
- SAP
