Career Opportunities in Retail Leadership - Kentwood, MI

We are currently hiring for three key positions:
1. Retail Clerk
This foundational role is critical to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Processing sales transactions accurately, handling cash efficiently, ensuring all transactions comply with state and federal tobacco laws, restocking and merchandising product displays, and maintaining a high standard of store cleanliness. 
- 
Qualifications: Proven reliability, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a professional customer experience. Prior retail experience is preferred but not mandatory. 
- 
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience. 
2. Shift Manager
The Shift Manager is a supervisory role responsible for the successful operation of the store during assigned shifts. This position is a pathway to further management opportunities.
- 
Key Responsibilities: Leading the team during shifts, delegating tasks, performing cash management (including opening and closing procedures), resolving customer and operational issues, and ensuring compliance with all company policies.

Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of proven retail experience, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and shift responsibility. 
3. Store Manager
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall financial performance, operational efficiency, and team development of the store.
- 
Key Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of the business, including financial reporting, inventory control, budget management, employee hiring, training, and performance management. The Manager is responsible for driving sales and ensuring a high-level, compliant retail operation. 
- 
Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years of management experience in a retail or convenience store setting. Proven ability to meet sales targets, control costs, and effectively lead and motivate a team. Experience with specialty retail or age-restricted products is highly valued.
