Key Responsibilities

1. ERP / CRM / WMS System Support

Serve as the primary technical contact for ERP, CRM, and WMS platforms.

Manage system user accounts, roles, permission sets, and workflow access based on approved requests.

Support system configuration changes, UAT, functional testing, and post–go-live stabilization.

Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or global teams to resolve incidents.

Support integrations with logistics platforms, labeling systems, BI tools, and other connected applications.

Assist business users with process navigation, system training, and issue resolution.

Maintain documentation for system changes, SOPs, and access controls.

2. IT Support & Infrastructure

Provide daily technical support across office, warehouse, and lab environments.

Troubleshoot end-user devices including computers, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and label printers.

Support local network performance including Wi-Fi, switches, and VPN connectivity.

Manage onboarding/offboarding workflows including device setup, account provisioning, and access deactivation.

Coordinate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for escalations and on-site service support.

3. IT Asset Management

Maintain accurate IT asset inventory including laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, scanners, and network equipment.

Track asset lifecycle: purchasing, deployment, assignment, maintenance, and retirement.

Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and recordkeeping.

Implement asset protection and secure disposal procedures.

4. Local Security Systems Management

(Physical Security Technology Support)

Support daily operation and maintenance of local security systems, including:

Door access control systems

Surveillance cameras (CCTV)

Alarm/monitoring systems

Manage employee access badges and permissions in accordance with internal controls.

Coordinate with security vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, or incident handling.

Ensure physical security systems integrate properly with corporate security policies.

5. Information Security & IT Controls

Enforce company-wide IT and information security policies.

Manage MFA, password policy, identity access management, and privileged access control.

Administer endpoint security tools (EDR, encryption, patching, antivirus, MDM).

Conduct periodic access reviews for ERP/CRM/WMS and key corporate systems.

Support segregation-of-duties (SoD) controls in financial and operational applications.

Respond to local security incidents, escalate as needed, and coordinate with global IT security teams.

Provide evidence and documentation for internal and external audits.

6. Microsoft 365 Administration

Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses, Teams, SharePoint, and security groups.

Configure email/security settings and ensure proper data access governance.

Support data retention, compliance, and information governance requirements.

Maintain collaboration structures and ensure secure file access permissions.

7. Collaboration with Global IT

Act as the key interface between the U.S. operations and global IT/security teams.

Support rollout of global systems, policies, and security tools.

Provide feedback on local operational needs, system use cases, and process improvements.

Participate in cross-regional IT initiatives, system integration projects, and compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–6 years of IT support or IT administration experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience supporting ERP and/or WMS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
  • Understanding of access control, endpoint security, and basic security incident response processes

Preferred

  • Experience in biotech, life sciences, manufacturing, or warehouse-enabled environments
  • Experience with ERP system implementation
  • Familiarity with Managed Service Provider (MSP) operating models
  • Experience with ITGC, SOX, COSO, or audit-related controls
  • Experience working in multinational or cross-regional organizations
  • Chinese language proficiency
