Vera French is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated Maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across Vera French facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry, along with a strong commitment to maintaining safe, functional environments.

This is a full-time position with shared on-call responsibilities, rotating with other Maintenance staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Vera French properties and related structures

• Assist with construction and remodeling projects on company-owned property

• Assess maintenance needs and identify required repairs

• Maintain and safely use tools and equipment

• Complete general repairs not requiring a specialized technician, including:

  • Drywall repair

  • Painting

  • Repairing doors and building fixtures

• Support general cleanliness and upkeep of facilities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing electrical or mechanical equipment

• Working knowledge of light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs

• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and diagnostic equipment

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol screening

• Valid driver's license

Additionally, you are hereby authorized to make any investigation of my personal history, educational background, military record,
motor vehicle records, criminal records, and credit history through an investigative or credit agency or bureau of your choice. I
authorize the release of this information by the appropriate agencies to the investigating service. I authorize and give permission for
the individuals listed as references to provide written information and/or verbally discuss my background with Vera French
Community Mental Health Center, or any of its affiliates.

This authorization, in original or copy form, shall be valid for this and any future reports and updates that may be required.
