EyeQ Monitoring is a technology-driven security and monitoring company focused on building scalable, reliable solutions that help protect people, property, and peace of mind. We believe great technology is built by strong teams who take ownership, collaborate deeply, and continuously evolve how work gets done—especially as new tools and technologies reshape our industry.
We’re looking for an AWS-focused DevOps Engineer who is excited to work in an AI-first engineering environment. In this role, you’ll manage and evolve our AWS infrastructure, improve CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security and reliability across environments. You’ll be fully leaned into using agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, AntiGravity, and others) as a first-class development partner for infrastructure as code, automation, documentation, and testing. If you enjoy building scalable cloud systems and rethinking DevOps through AI-assisted workflows, this role is for you.
Here at EyeQ, people matter. Any new team members we bring on have to live and breathe our core values, just like we do.
- Take the Hill – We act with urgency, ownership, and grit. We solve hard problems and move forward with purpose.
- Trusted Partnerships – We build trust through transparency, collaboration, and accountability—with our customers and with each other.
- Build to Last – We focus on scalable, sustainable solutions that stand the test of time.
- Enjoy the Journey – We work hard, support one another, and believe meaningful work should also be rewarding and fun.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and maintain AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, VPCs, IAM, security, monitoring)
- Use agentic AI tools daily to generate and refine IaC, scripts, documentation, and tests
- Build and support AWS service-based components such as Lambda, S3, and microservices
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD)
- Handle ongoing maintenance tasks including backups, patching, logging, certificate management, and monitoring
- Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud operations
Requirements:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (VPCs, IAM, Lambda, S3, security)
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, networking, SSL/TLS, and cloud security best practices
- Genuine excitement for working in an AI-assisted DevOps workflow
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, EC2 backup/restore, or monitoring tools
- Kubernetes experience (optional)
- Strong communicator and collaborator
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive
- Passionate about problem-solving and continuous learning
