Job Description

A local, growing, fleet repair facility is seeking full time experienced diesel & gas technicians. We are looking for motivated, qualified people interested in becoming part of a growing team. Must have valid drivers license. MUST HAVE DIAGNOSTIC KNOWLEDGE!

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

Performing engine repair, under vehicle inspections, Brakes, electrical, HVAC diagnostic, and preventive maintenance vehicle services.
Inspecting motor vehicles to assure safe, effective, and legally compliant operation.
Responding to emergency road calls and making effective repairs as possible; otherwise arranging safe transport of inoperable vehicle to garage.
Coordinating the work schedule with other departments to assure effective and efficient maintenance of organization motor vehicle fleet.
Receiving training to maintain knowledge and skill in motor vehicle repair, including maintaining any required certifications
Processing standard work documents, such as work orders.
Performing routine care and cleaning of shop equipment.
Maintaining a safe and clean work place.
2 years (or more) experience with Gasoline and/or Diesel engines.
ASE certified - Preferred. CDL and State Inspectors License is a plus!
Must have own tools and be a team player!

Salary based on experience.

We are hiring for our Chesapeake location. Operational hours range from Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Health & Dental Insurance is offered as well as paid time off. Retirement benefits offered as well! There is also opportunity for bonuses & advancement. Please email resume. Serious inquires only.
