Overview
The Software Engineer II designs, develops, and enhances enterprise applications, delivering technically sound solutions to support business needs. This role serves as a key individual contributor on complex projects and may guide less experienced developers.
Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance applications across the SDLC.

Serve as a key contributor on complex, enterprise initiatives.

Maintain and support existing applications.

Provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Develop and execute test plans; debug and resolve issues.

Prepare technical documentation, estimates, and project inputs.

Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams.
-
Recommend improvements to technology, tools, and processes.

Ensure compliance with development standards, risk, and regulatory controls.
Education and Experience Required
-
5+ years of application development and systems analysis experience.

Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Web API, and ASP.NET.

Azure cloud development, including application refactoring/migration.

Experience with Angular, Entity Framework Core, and unit testing.

Solid understanding of SOLID principles, TDD, and clean coding practices.

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education and Experience Preferred
-
Experience in financial services or banking environments.
-
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Git-based repositories.

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
