Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for all visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, trespassing, or suspicious activity, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by the site policies.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any concerns to the proper authorities and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
