About the Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide short-term, intermittent services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of needs, from pediatric to geriatric populations.

Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address patients' speech, language, and cognitive needs.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments and equipment.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating language therapy, speech therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation techniques.

Provide therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and education.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field

Current Alabama license as a Speech Language Pathologist
