General Contractor is seeking a dedicated Estimator/ Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will play a vital role in our construction projects by accurately estimating costs and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, take-offs, cost control, and negotiation.

**Duties:**

- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.

- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment

- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and Plainswift to create detailed estimates.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.

- Conduct on-site visits to assess construction sites and gather relevant data.

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget.

- Prepare and submit contract bids and proposals.

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in construction estimating and cost control.

- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and Plainswuift.

- Strong knowledge of construction management principles.

- Utilize software such as building connect and Procore

- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors.

- Prior experience in negotiating contracts within the construction industry is preferred.

- Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge.
