Make an Impact

As a Maintenance Technician Assistant, you’ll help keep our community’s buildings, amenities, and common areas in excellent condition. Working closely with the Maintenance Technician and Association Manager, you’ll ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with exterior maintenance such as gutter cleaning, siding repair, light drywall and painting, and minor roof repairs
  • Servicing and maintaining community features — lighting systems, street signs, mailboxes, pool areas, and fencing
  • Supporting seasonal maintenance including snow removal, pool opening/closing, and landscaping projects
  • Performing general housekeeping of common areas, including trash pickup and dog depot maintenance
  • Replacing entry lighting bulbs, photocells, and timers
  • Maintaining company tools and equipment in good working order
  • Completing assigned work orders, mileage forms, and time sheets accurately and on time
  • Following all Towne and OSHA safety guidelines when using ladders, tools, and safety gear
  • Assisting the maintenance team with special projects as assigned

Bring Your Skills

You’re a hands-on problem solver with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This is the perfect opportunity to build your maintenance career—gaining hands-on experience, learning from skilled technicians, and growing into a full Maintenance Technician role.

  • 6+ months of experience in maintenance, construction, or groundskeeping preferred
  • Basic skills in painting, drywall repair, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
  • Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools for exterior repairs
  • Dependability and attention to detail when completing work orders and daily tasks
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and grow within the maintenance field
  • Willingness to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Willingness to complete a background and drug screening if offered the role

  • Mileage reimbursement, work boot reimbursement, and company-provided uniforms
  • 401(k) with a generous company match
