Job DescriptionDescription:

Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is looking for an enthusiastic IT Assistant to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The IT Assistant will provide support in maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure and be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with the installation and configuration of hardware and software, and providing general support to staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Maintains operations of telephone system.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the organization’s networks and data.
  • Act as a liaison to the agency’s external managed service provider.
  • Monitor IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Support user training and onboarding for new software or tools.
  • Help with inventory management of IT equipment.
  • Document IT procedures, systems configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Two to three years experience working with computers and technology, preferably in a health care setting.
  • Knowledge of current Federal and State information security laws and regulations as they pertain to safeguarding Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI), and familiarity with commonly accepted security and risk management practices is preferred.
  • Or a combination of education and experience that is determined to be equivalent to the above listed education and experience requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to an automobile during working hours that meets the State of New Hampshire registration regulations and auto liability insurance.
