We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper & Office Manager to oversee the entire accounting function and financial operations of our small team. This role requires expertise in full-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and internal controls with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s books while supporting budgeting and audit processes. This is a Monday through Friday in-office position reporting directly to the Owner/CEO or COO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping utilizing QuickBooks Online and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in compliance with GAAP
  • Process biweekly payroll and handle associated tax filings ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through financial data analysis
  • Prepare and document journal entries for month-end closing and audit purposes
  • Collaborate with external auditors and CPA for year-end close and tax preparation
  • Implement and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Manage accounting for multiple locations, each with separate profit & loss tracking within consolidated books

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably Full Charge bookkeeping
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
  • Experience preparing financial reports and account reconciliations
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience managing internal controls and multi-location accounting
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
