A bit about us:
The Commercial Chiller Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and installing large commercial and industrial chiller systems. Work is primarily performed in environments such as hospitals, universities, commercial office buildings, and large manufacturing facilities. This role also includes coordinating assigned service agreements or projects to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to contract standards.
Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional on call rotation. Overtime is expected during periods of high demand.

Job Details
Responsibilities -
+ Troubleshoot and service large commercial and industrial chiller systems
+ Perform chiller maintenance, annual inspections, and overhauls
+ Respond to a high volume of service calls in a professional and timely manner
+ Communicate clearly with customers and explain issues and solutions in plain language
+ Follow troubleshooting guides and verify system operation and safety controls before leaving job sites
+ Ensure customer questions and concerns are addressed prior to departure
+ Coordinate arrival and departure times with customers
+ Complete service reports daily and obtain customer signatures
+ Maintain accurate paperwork and keep leadership informed of job status and customer concerns
+ Assist other service technicians with technical problem solving as needed
+ Maintain current technical knowledge by reviewing manuals and participating in industry organizations
Qualifications -
+ Minimum 10 years of experience maintaining and servicing commercial chiller systems
+ Strong troubleshooting experience with large tonnage chillers
+ Experience with York, Carrier, Daikin, McQuay, Trane, and similar manufacturers
+ Experience working on Smardt chillers
+ Universal EPA Certification
+ Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements -
+ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform overhead work
+ Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work in tight or enclosed spaces
+ Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
+ Ability to wear a respirator when required
+ Vision correctable to 20 20 with no color blindness
+ Hearing correctable to normal range
