What You'll Be Doing
As an Application Engineer, you will serve as the technical expert supporting advanced automation and motion control applications throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for customers and sales teams
• Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize motion control systems
• Support applications involving:
o Servo Motors
o Motion Controllers
o Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
o AC & DC Drives
o Industrial Sensors
o PLC-Based Automation Systems
• Assist customers with machine startup, programming, troubleshooting, and system optimization
• Develop and deliver technical training presentations and product demonstrations
• Support OEMs, System Integrators, Distributors, and End Users
• Size motors, drives, and peripheral equipment for customer applications
• Assist with software development, debugging, and machine control implementation
• Provide application engineering support for complex automation projects
• Travel throughout the New England region supporting customer sites

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in:
o Electrical Engineering
o Mechanical Engineering
o Mechatronics Engineering
o Engineering Technology
o Or equivalent technical experience
• 5+ years of industrial automation, application engineering, field service, or controls engineering experience
• Strong experience with:
o Motion Control Systems
o Servo Drives & Servo Motors
o Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
o PLC Programming
o Industrial Automation Systems
• Experience commissioning and troubleshooting automated machinery
• Ability to travel 25%-50% throughout the territory
