MuleSoft Consultant / API Developer (Integration Analyst)

Employment Type: W2 with accel bi corporation

Location: Suffolk County, New York (Hybrid)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Start Date: July 1, 2026

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + Benefits

Job Description

accel bi corporation is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Consultant / API Developer (Integration Analyst) to support enterprise integration initiatives for a public-sector organization in Suffolk County, New York.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing integrations across multiple enterprise SaaS, ERP, and financial systems using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Build and manage integration flows across SaaS applications
  • Perform API lifecycle management, including design, deployment, versioning, and monitoring
  • Conduct integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Configure API security policies and ensure compliance with data protection standards
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager)
  • Experience developing REST APIs and Mule applications
  • Strong DataWeave development skills
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms, ERP systems, and financial applications
  • Proficiency with JSON, XML, RAML, OAuth2, and API security standards
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Required Certifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD Level 1 or Level 2)
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday integrations
  • Experience integrating with financial and ERP platforms
  • Experience with payment processing systems
  • Government or public-sector project experience
  • Exposure to Azure and/or AWS cloud environments

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have valid U.S. work authorization for the duration of the engagement
  • Must be physically located within the United States

Work Arrangement

Hybrid work schedule based in Suffolk County, New York.
