Role Description The Escrow Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Trenton, MI. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the escrow process for residential real estate transactions, including opening escrow files, reviewing purchase agreements, and preparing closing documents in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The Escrow Officer coordinates with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate professionals, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely closings, disburses funds, and issues final settlement statements. Daily tasks include maintaining clear communication with clients, resolving discrepancies, verifying documentation, and ensuring that all escrow and title requirements are satisfied. The role also involves providing high-quality customer service, safeguarding confidential information, and supporting continuous improvement of escrow procedures and workflows.

Job Duties include:

- Review and understand purchase agreement and title commitment to determine necessary requirements for closing
- Obtain all payoffs, bills, and other conditions required for closing
- Effectively communicate with all parties in the transaction to coordinate the closing
- Prepare real estate closing documents
- Collaborate with lender on Closing Disclosure preparation
- Develop and maintain good customer relationships

Qualifications and Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to reliably meet deadlines and demonstrate consistent follow through
- Takes pride in quality work
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Minimum 3 years Escrow Processing experience preferred
- Compensation commensurate with experience and full benefits package.
