Helper Rate: $20. 83 per hour
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female helper to assist an 89-year-old woman (160 lbs) who is a fall risk and recently experienced a fall. She is mentally sharp and mostly independent but uses a walker for mobility and requires standby assistance for safety.
Care Responsibilities
- Provide standby assist and walking support to ensure safety
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform light house cleaning
- Monitor for fall risks and ensure a safe environment
- Offer companionship and general supervision
Schedule
- 10 hours per week or more
- 4 hours per day, 2 days per week
- May extend to 6-hour shifts when needed
- Occasional 2-hour shifts as required
Ideal Candidate
- Physically capable and strong enough to provide safe standby assistance
- Experience supporting fall-risk seniors preferred
- Attentive, patient, and safety-focused
- Reliable and flexible with occasional schedule adjustments
This role is ideal for a helper who understands fall prevention and can provide reliable walking support while ensuring the client remains safe, comfortable, and independent.
