Job Description

Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) — Direct Hire | Manitowoc, WI
Pay: $23/hr (some flexibility based on experience)
Schedule: 3:00pm–11:00pm Tues–Thurs, 12:00pm–8:00pm Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm Sat (40 hrs/week)

If you’re a hands-on maintenance pro who can troubleshoot, repair, and keep production running, this is a solid long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer in Manitowoc. You’ll work independently on a variety of mechanical/electrical/building issues, with a strong focus on safety (LOTO/Confined Space) and reliable repairs.

What you’ll be doing

Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify defects, and complete repairs/adjustments
Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
Work from written instructions, sketches, and diagrams to complete jobs correctly
Follow and support site safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space
Pitch in with other maintenance-related duties as needed

Required (what we need to see)

2+ years of plant/building maintenance experience using at least two of the following: mechanical, electrical, building trades
Strong understanding of tools, methods, materials, and safe work practices
Able to communicate effectively in English and work independently or as part of a team
Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and tolerate being on the shop floor for extended periods
Commitment to safety and confidentiality

Preferred (helps you stand out)

Experience with emergency/contingency procedures and plant safety programs
Broader multi-trade background (mechanical + electrical + building repairs)
