JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview: Insight Global is seeking an IT Business Operations Manager to support hospital IT operations with a strong focus on process, procedures, strategy, budgeting, and performance metrics. This role mirrors the business operations function currently performed on the university side, tailored specifically to the hospital environment. This is an operations-first role, ideal for a versatile, detail-oriented leader who can manage across functions, drive operational rigor, and support IT leadership with execution, governance, and visibility. Responsibilities: • Own and optimize IT operational processes and procedures for the hospital environment • Support IT strategy execution, ensuring alignment with hospital priorities • Manage and track IT budgets, forecasts, and spend, partnering with finance as needed • Define, maintain, and report on IT operational metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards • Support planning, coordination, and execution of IT initiatives (light PM oversight, not a pure PM role) • Act as a central operational liaison across IT, clinical stakeholders, and leadership • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; recommend and implement process improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must Haves: • 7+ years of experience in IT operations, IT business management, or IT governance (healthcare or hospital environment strongly preferred) • Strong background in operations management (process, budget, metrics), not purely project management • Experience supporting enterprise IT organizations with multiple stakeholders • Comfortable as a “jack of all trades”—able to pivot between strategy, execution, and operational details • Demonstrated experience working with budgets, reporting, and performance metrics • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
