Who we are: We are a well-established, reputable IT provider specific to the dental industry with locations and customers across the country. We are currently expanding in the Amarillo, Texas area, with clients already in place and we are looking for an experienced field technician to accommodate our clients and this growing market.. This is a hybrid position meaning the incumbent will work both remotely and in the field (dental offices). Our clients are currently located in Amarillo, Canyon and Lubbock with most in the Amarillo area. The person selected for this position must reside in the Amarillo area at the time of hire.

As a dental IT provider, we provide IT services specifically to dental offices. We do not expect to find someone experienced with dental IT specifically, just a great technician that we can teach the dental side to.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide both remote and onsite technical support including troubleshooting IT related issues.
  • Hardware/software installations including servers, computers, printers, scanners, switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points, etc.
  • Install Network Racks
  • Ability to run and terminate network (CAT6) cabling (through ceilings, walls, etc.).
  • Mount monitor arms and TV's on walls.
  • Ensure periodic backups and remote monitoring of client assets.
  • Respond to client support tickets in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Follow up with doctors office to ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with Windows-based servers, systems, and software, including Server 2016 and newer, and Windows 11.
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot remote connectivity, including routers, RDP, VPN, TS.
  • Experience with network cabling and proficiency with all areas of networking and domain administration.
  • Understanding of virtual machines.
  • Excellent customer service, reporting, follow through, and time management skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and install computers, monitors, wall- and ceiling-mounted monitor arms, printers, and scanners.
  • Commute/travel to dental practice locations.
  • Some out of area/state travel may be required.

The pay range for this position is $22-$23 per hour

Full time Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm

Paid holiday, sick days, and vacation included.
