Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and welcoming dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Monitor tables throughout the meal, anticipating guest needs and ensuring satisfaction
- Process payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout each shift
Requirements:
- Previous serving or food & beverage experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a guest-first mindset
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol per Florida state law
