Childcare Provider (TEMP)/Special Needs

Job DescriptionPlus One Meetings runs temporary travel care programs across the country during conferences, conventions, and large events. Members of our core team travel to each location and are supported by a team of local caregivers. We are currently looking for experienced, outgoing, and reliable special needs caregivers and childcare providers for a temporary program taking place in Aurora, CO.
This is a 3-day program. Hours are as followed:
Thursday July 16th - Saturday July 18th 8:30 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 6:00 pmEvening hours: Saturday July 18th 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The program will include multiple children and adults ages infant - 40 years, and multiple caregivers will be hired. Those with a special needs/caregiver background, child-care background, and/or teaching experience are an ideal fit. All materials will be provided and will include materials such as craft supplies, games, age-appropriate play equipment, care supplies, etc. All you need to bring is a fun personality, loving heart, and the ability to be hands-on with projects!
Responsibilities may include:Personal care: Helping with dressing and using the toiletDaily activities: Assisting with activities throughout the dayEmergencies: Applying first aid procedures, as neededEmotional support: Providing companionship and support as needed
Requirements:

• Preference given to those with special needs/caregiving experience with individuals who have physical, mental, and emotional developmental disabilities.
• Must have experience working with multiple children at once.
• Must be willing to assist with diapers and/or bathroom needs if needed.
• Must be active and able to be on your feet for the whole day.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:All COVID safety protocols as required by local and state guidelines at the time of the program will be followed.
Experience:

• Special needs/Caregiving (preferred)
• Childcare (all ages): 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

• CPR and first aid certification (Preferred)
