What Youll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on assigned vehicles.
- Communicate repair needs and progress with the service advisor and parts department.
- Document all services performed and recommended on repair orders.
- Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
- Participate in ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training to stay current with evolving technologies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice technicians when assigned.
- Follow all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
What You Bring
- Experience: 24+ years as a diesel technician, automotive technician, or related role.
- Education: Associates or technical degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
- ASE certifications preferred.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency with shop tools, diagnostic software, and repair procedures.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.

Location: Missoula, MT
Type: Full-Time | MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $32 $37 per hour
