Position: Manager / Supervisor - Electron Beam Job Shop
Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Type: Full-time
Salary: From $85,000/year

Role Overview:
We are seeking an Operations Manager / Supervisor for a specialized electron beam welding job shop. The ideal candidate will manage every aspect of the business, including customer interactions, quoting jobs, workflow management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the job shop and manage personnel.
Ensure all welding processes meet quality and safety standards, with a focus on Electron Beam, TIG, and Laser welding.
Interact directly with customers for quoting and project management.
Maintain and troubleshoot high-voltage equipment (Hamilton, Leybold, PTR).
Supervise inspection processes and minor machine repairs.

Qualifications:

Minimum 15 years of welding experience, with hands-on Electron Beam, TIG, and Laser welding expertise.
Proven experience managing teams and personnel in a technical or industrial setting.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Ability to oversee all aspects of shop operations, including workflow, quality, and equipment maintenance.
