Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Estimator
Location: Elk River, MN 55330 (Onsite)
Position Overview
A growing construction firm is hiring a Senior Project Manager / Estimator to lead civil project delivery while building reliable cost models. This role owns project estimating, risk assessment, planning, and execution from bid through closeout. Success comes from driving deadlines, protecting margins, and keeping teams aligned with field realities.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce detailed cost estimates and scopes of work for sitework, utilities, and earthmoving
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with operations, field teams, and subcontractors to execute projects profitably
• Maintain budget tracking and forecast updates throughout project life
• Serve as client point of contact and ensure contractual compliance
• Drive safety and quality standards on site
Requirements• 7+ years managing civil projects with estimating responsibility
• Proven cost modeling and scheduling accuracy
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with construction estimating software
Preferred Background
• Heavy civil, utilities, or site development experience
