Job Details:

As a Senior Software DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD infrastructure and development toolchains to support high-quality software delivery within regulated environments. This role bridges software development and IT operations, leading version control migrations, championing DevOps best practices, and enabling engineering teams through training, tooling, and process optimization.

Knowledge

• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline architecture within enterprise development environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of version control systems, including SVN and Git, with experience planning and executing repository migrations.
• Familiarity with regulated software development standards and quality frameworks (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
• Proficiency with requirements and issue management platforms (e.g., Helix ALM or similar tools).
• Awareness of software licensing models, governance, and compliance practices.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates or equivalents).

Skills

• Advanced proficiency designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across enterprise DevOps platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience administering DevOps environments, including repositories, build/release pipelines, and service integrations.
• Skilled in technical documentation development, including migration runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and user training materials.
• Ability to lead tool onboarding and knowledge transfer initiatives across development teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills supporting build systems and deployment pipelines.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or related technical roles.
• Proven track record leading version control migrations (e.g., SVN to Git), including planning, execution, validation, and team enablement.
• Hands-on experience configuring and administering enterprise DevOps toolchains.
• Demonstrated success designing and implementing scalable CI/CD frameworks.
• Practical experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience managing software tools, licensing, and compliance tracking.
• Exposure to requirements and defect tracking systems.
• Preferred: Experience supporting software delivery within regulated industries (e.g., medical device, life sciences, aerospace, or similar).
