Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher serving students in a supportive educational setting near Andover, MN. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027 and offers the chance to engage with a center-based, Setting III caseload within a dynamic school environment. The position is full-time, covering 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
Demonstrated experience working in Special Education settings, preferably with Setting III or center-based programs
Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with staff, students, and families
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and structured classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a Setting III/centerbase LAUNCH program
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Employ evidence-based intervention strategies to promote student growth
Collect ongoing data and utilize assessment results to adjust instructional approaches
Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
