Litigation Paralegal
Albright, Yee & Schmit, APC is a downtown Los Angeles law firm representing significant public entity and corporate clients. We are seeking a senior-level Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of experience to join our team.

Position Summary
The Litigation Paralegal works closely with our attorneys to deliver high-quality billable work for our clients. This is a senior-level role requiring substantive expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, discovery motions, and proposed orders for attorney review
- Draft and issue subpoenas, and prepare jury instructions
- Process, tag, index, and organize voluminous discovery, including documents, electronic communications, and audio and video recordings
- Summarize and index depositions, and prepare comprehensive summaries and indexes upon completion of discovery
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LEXIS, and other authoritative sources
- E-file in California state and federal courts
- Coordinate with experts and witnesses; arrange and confirm trial appearances and testimony
- Conduct client and witness interviews and meetings as needed to support case development
- Manage calendaring, deadlines, and procedural compliance across an active caseload
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate (State of California)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
- Working knowledge of California state and federal court systems, procedures, and e-filing requirements
- Proficiency in Westlaw, LEXIS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and case management software
