Position Overview
As an Assembler, you will support production operations by assisting Machine Operators throughout the manufacturing process. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, following detailed instructions, and contributing to a team focused on quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow job instructions to ensure products are completed accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and stage master rolls in the unwind area for production runs
- Set shafts and assist with machine setup as needed
- Start and stop machinery according to production requirements
- Remove finished rolls from shafts and prepare them for shipment or storage
- Accurately stack, label, and organize finished products
- Measure and cut cores to production specifications
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and tools
- Support quality, safety, and production initiatives
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Required Skills
✅ Ability to read and follow written instructions
✅ Ability to read a ruler and measuring tape accurately
✅ Basic math skills, including:
- Addition
- Subtraction
- Multiplication
- Division
✅ Strong attention to detail and quality
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently push, pull, and lift materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Schedule & Pay
2nd Shift
$17.51 per hour
Overtime opportunities may be available based on production needs.
