Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Detailer specializing in Commercial Doors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and specifications for Division 8 products. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our commercial door projects, contributing to our goal of delivering exceptional service and products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for commercial doors and related hardware.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and interpret architectural plans and technical documents to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and assistance to the production team during the fabrication and installation phases.
- Maintain accurate records of project drawings and revisions to ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to gather necessary information for project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Detailer, with a focus on commercial doors and Division 8 products.
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in e/pws or similar design software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
