Position Overview
The Preconstruction Manager will oversee the planning and execution of preconstruction activities for various projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project stakeholders to establish project scopes, budgets, and schedules and provide strategic input to support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preconstruction planning activities and coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present preconstruction estimates and proposals to clients and internal teams.
  • Manage and mentor preconstruction staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the preconstruction phase.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preffered.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in preconstruction or construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing commercial, ground-up, renovations, and remodel projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
