We are seeking a reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general maintenance, basic plumbing, appliance troubleshooting, and repair. This role is responsible for ensuring that apartment units and common areas are well-maintained and that service requests are completed in a timely, professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in occupied and vacant units
- Troubleshoot and repair household appliances (stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)
- Handle soft plumbing work such as unclogging drains, replacing faucets, and repairing leaks
- Conduct basic electrical and HVAC troubleshooting (filters, breakers, thermostats)
- Complete work orders quickly, professionally, and with attention to detail
- Assist with unit turnovers and general property upkeep
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in apartments, facilities, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, appliance troubleshooting, and general handyman skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
