This position involves providing our customers with the best service experience, from the initial phone call through to the completion of the service call. You will maintain good communication and relationships with our technicians through understanding and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming service requests for HVAC service.
- Create work orders.
- Schedule calls and review after-hours calls, contacting and scheduling appropriately.
- Respond to online inquiries.
- Monitor the info email for service requests and other requests, passing them along to the appropriate person.
- Dispatch technicians to ensure the right technician is sent to the right job.
- Perform follow-up calls as needed.
- Distribute after-action items to the appropriate person, such as informing about warranty calls or invoicing needs.
- Review and schedule commercial and residential maintenance to fulfill customer obligations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years experience doing dispatch for a services-based company, preferably in the trades industry.
- Good customer service and phone skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Positive communication between managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Maximizing the schedule to address customer needs and company profitability.
- Focus on the HVAC side of the business.
Work Environment
This position is onsite 5 days a week with hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bath, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
