Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid (Remote & In-Person)

The Software Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and documenting specific software implementations embedded in intralogistics projects. This is an entry-level position that requires a basic understanding of object-oriented programming. Knowledge of logistical processes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Implement software solutions for customer projects based on the software requirements specifications and software designs

• Test software implementation against requirements and create test logs

• Create documentation for software implementation

• Assist productive operation (remotely and/or on-site)

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software errors

• Execute test scenarios for commissioning and commission software on-site

• Support IT CSS engineers and on-site Software Support Engineers

• Actively communicate with team members, the IT Project Manager, and the Software Developer Lead about work, project status, and risks

• Participate in team meetings on an as-needed basis

• Effectively communicate with customers if required

• Infrequently handle test product required for test scenarios on-site (Tubs, Totes, Cases, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience in similar work.

• Two years of experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.

• Two years of experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.

• May be required to travel internationally for training, project assignments, and commissioning

• Must be able to work on-call at the 1st level.
