Job Requirements\n
- \n
- 3+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active New Mexico RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- Strong experience with ventilated patients, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation
- Cerner charting experience required
- Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays
- Two professional references required
- Must be comfortable floating within the hospital or to an affiliated nearby facility as needed
- Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted

Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Perform triage, assess patient acuity, and prioritize care in a busy Emergency Department
- Support care for ventilated patients and assist with advanced emergency interventions
- Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Assist with conscious sedation and other common ER procedures
- Document thoroughly and accurately in Cerner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely, coordinated acute care
- Adapt to rotating scheduling needs and provide reliable weekend coverage
- Float as needed in accordance with facility policies and standards
