Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals, equipment, and techniques with safety as a priority
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for pest management.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, locations serviced, and follow-up needs
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies to reduce future infestations
- Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pest control methods, including chemical application and natural alternatives.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment efficiently
- Excellent driving skills with a valid license for safe transportation between job sites
- Sales skills to recommend services or products that meet client needs effectively
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Clear communication skills to educate clients and collaborate with team members effectively
