Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive collision repair and a passion for restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role requires proficiency in various repair techniques, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality auto body repairs and restorations on various vehicle makes and models.
- Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed.
- Fabricate and repair sheet metal components as necessary to restore vehicles.
- Execute welding tasks to ensure structural integrity of repaired areas.
- Conduct thorough detailing of vehicles post-repair to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto body repair, with a focus on auto body work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
- Experience in auto restoration projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in fabricating parts and working with sheet metal.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of auto painting processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.25 - $29.85 per hour
