We’re looking for an experienced Mitigation Project Manager to join a growing restoration team in Toledo. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys managing projects, working with customers and insurance professionals, and leading field teams to successful project completion.
You’ll oversee a mix of residential and commercial mitigation and remediation projects from initial inspection through completion, while helping ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Manage approximately 10–15 active residential and commercial mitigation/remediation projects at a time.
- Lead and support a team of approximately 3–4 technicians.
- Coordinate project schedules, technicians, equipment, resources, and subcontractors.
- Visit active job sites regularly to monitor progress, quality, and project timelines.
- Perform job-site inspections and develop detailed scopes of work.
- Complete documentation, photos, scope notes, dry logs, work authorizations, certificates of completion, and other required project records.
- Utilize iGuide to document appropriate job opportunities and project conditions.
- Review estimates for accuracy and communicate necessary changes within 24–48 hours.
- Monitor job costs, including labor hours, equipment, supplies, and subcontractor expenses.
- Communicate directly with homeowners, customers, insurance adjusters, and insurance companies throughout the project.
- Help resolve questions or concerns while providing customers with a positive experience during what can often be a stressful situation.
- Conduct final project walk-throughs with lead technicians to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to field technicians.
- Work closely with project coordination and estimating teams to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Lead the assigned on-call team for after-hours mitigation needs every other week.
- Travel locally as needed to support active projects.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, confident, customer-focused, and comfortable managing several projects simultaneously. You should be able to walk a job site, assess the situation, develop a scope of work, communicate effectively with customers and adjusters, and lead technicians through successful completion of the project.
This is a great opportunity for someone with restoration, mitigation, remediation, water damage, or related project management experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of their projects.
