Summary

The Information Technology Manager is a trusted individual with fiduciary responsibility for managing a wide range of facets within the information technology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in ERP management to ensure we utilize our system as optimally as possible. Maintaining an on-going strong relationship with our co-managed network provider will also be critical to ensure security and efficiency is upheld within our operations. A strong desire and ability to roll the sleeves up will be necessary to support a wide range of areas to support our company’s needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Information Technology Management

  • Effectively maintain relationships with our co-managed network provider
  • Optimize ERP usage and troubleshoot/resolve issues, manage annual agreement with provider
  • Establish/maintain vendor relationships and drive efficient and reliable performance of all hardware, software, office equipment, phones, and internet
  • General knowledge of information technology topics to resolve end user issues or questions
  • System security via cybersecurity training and mitigating controls
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with other stakeholders in the company to drive all implementations, issues, or enhancements to completion
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for the department to operate in a consistent and reliable manner
  • Development and ownership of the information technology budget
  • General availability during off-hours for support as needed (infrequent)

Leadership

  • Set direction and coach staff to be successful
  • Exemplify the Zero-Max core values through close engagement and interaction with employees (1. Provide best in class service and solutions, 2. Hold ourselves accountable, and 3. Do the right thing)
  • Manage employee hiring, performance management, and training
  • Provide real-time feedback to staff to drive proactive performance improvement

Requirements:

Qualifications

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Ten years’ experience in various aspects of information technology
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Requirements

  • General knowledge and comfort of ERP software (Epicor expertise strongly preferred)
  • Desire to roll the sleeves up to proactively figure things out
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that include the ability to work with employees at multiple levels within the organization
  • The ability to effectively train employees and conduct performance management activities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Confidentiality, integrity, and effective communication skills are required
