Job Description
We are currently seeking ​a Diesel Truck Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive, medium duty, and class 8 vehicles.
Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance</li>
<li>Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary</li>
<li>Prepare work orders and order parts</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe workplace</li>
</ul>
Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)</li>
<li>Valid driver's license (CDL strongly preferred)</li>
<li>Diesel technician or mechanic degree a plus</li>
<li>Experience with small diesel engine repair</li>
<li>Some welding experience required</li>
<li>Mechanical skills</li>
<li>Basic computer skills</li>
<li>Basic math skills</li>
