A fast-growing robotics and AI company is building intelligent automation solutions that

combine robotics, computer vision, and machine learning to solve real-world challenges in a

traditionally underserved industry. Their technology integrates advanced robotics with AI-driven

software to deliver high-performance, real-time decision-making in complex physical

environments.

This role sits at the intersection of robotics, AI, and user experience — leading the development

of web and mobile applications that serve as the primary interface between users and complex

robotic systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical execution with team leadership in a

highly collaborative, in-office environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team building web and mobile applications that interface with cloud

services and robotics systems

• Contribute directly to architecture, design, and code (player/coach role)

• Drive execution across the full software development lifecycle: planning, design,

development, testing, and deployment

• Partner cross-functionally with product, backend, robotics, and hardware teams

• Set technical direction, prioritize work, and ensure high-quality delivery

• Mentor and develop engineers, raising the team's technical bar

• Identify and resolve technical and organizational challenges

• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders

• Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability

• Participate in field testing and collaborate with end users to validate real-world

performance

What You'll Build

• Customer-facing web applications for monitoring and controlling robotic systems

• Mobile applications used in field environments

• Interfaces connecting cloud services with real-time hardware systems

• Tools that translate complex system data into intuitive user experiences

Requirements

• Experience managing frontend (React/TypeScript) and/or mobile (Flutter or similar)

engineering teams

• Ability to operate as a hands-on technical leader (Lead Engineer level depth)

• Strong experience building and deploying web and/or mobile applications

• Experience working on systems that integrate with backend services and hardware

• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $190,000 – $225,000

Compensation varies based on experience, level, and skill alignment.
